As you read this I’m in the Bahamas diving with Stuart’s Cove and waiting to head out with Blackbeard’s for a week of diving with some friends. Now you may think I’m taking a well deserved vacation but, in fact, this is work and I’m doing this for you all.
I had a chance to come over to the Bahamas and dive with Stuart’s Cove for a week (thanks Richard) and since I had not dove with them before I wanted to check them out for everyone. Next I’ll be heading out on a Blackbeard live aboard. This could be a nice, low price trip with airfare from Atlanta being cheap at times. Look for a review of these two operators next month. And remember, it’s a difficult job but someone got to do it.
Due to Delta’s insane policy we have had to drop the airfare from the Tobago trip. We have re-priced it at $1450. This will allow those of you with airline points to save a lot on this trip. We do need to get it filled in February to keep the room costs down so please give us a call if you are interested.
Solo Diving Course
Also in February is our first Solo Diving Course. This course will teach you to be more self-sufficient. The dates are February 3 – 5 so call now for a spot.
The Web store is up and running and we’ve even had a few sales. Please check it out and tell us what you think. You can get to it from our home page www.diveatlanta.com click on gear at the top and ignore the pull down menu . That should take you there. If not try http://scubagear.diveatlanta.com/.
We still have room for the February trip to Ginnie Springs. It’s the Keys in March and Tobago in April with a new price. That should be a blast. I’m still planning my 2013 trip to Yap, Palau and Hawaii. I would love for everyone to come with me. Keep and eye out for more details. Still working the dates but looks to be in the late summer or early fall of 2013. We will land base for Yap and live aboard for Palau. We will also do the Manta Ray dive in Kona and visit the big island in Hawaii.
Remember, www.diveatlanta.com has all our current classes (including solo and drysuit) as well as trips.
Hope to see ya soon,
Lee & Brooke
